Project: Yonsei Student Annex

Yonsei University is one of the top universities in South Korea. Located in Seoul, it is home to a diverse student body with various extracurricular interests. The Student Union Building is where these interests collide, hosting the university's many clubs within its walls. It is also a place of community, featuring many study spaces and dining spaces. However, as the university expands, these communal areas grow increasingly cramped, a problem I observed directly as a study abroad student who attended Yonsei during the Spring 2024 semester. The South Annex aims to alleviate this problem, offering more space to study, chat, and dine.
